Anti-Techies Guide Using your Crows

The Techies could be one of the most underestimated hero in Dota. Aside from the Techies' low hp, low damage and unique gameplay, many players just ignored the poor guys because of their small size. Many thought that later in the game, the Techies will be helpless and not that very effective. Little they know, that expert Techies' players can own even the mean heroes of the other team.



Squee and Spleen usually own the game from the start. With the suicide and landmines, a Techies expert can easily get beyond Godlike even before they can reach 30 minutes of gameplay. So, the best way to counter this, is with the help of our little flying couriers. Here's some tips to remember:

.Let your courier evolve to crow for better advantage.
.Upgrade it to have mana so you can carry observer or sentry wards.
.Put wards in locations where you think the Techies might plant their devastating mines.
.Always remember to use the barrier of the courier to protect it from the damage of enemies or remote mines.
.Also, you can buy 2 or 3 crows that will go to and fro on locations that give better bird's eyeview on your enemies.
.Let the crows to spy across the map to patrol different areas.

With the help of this little precautionary tactic, you can save your team from the trickery of these mischievous goblins.

Explosive Swapping: Vengeful-Techies Duo

Vengeful Spirit and the Goblin Techies can make a devastating duo that will surely add fun to your gameplay. Skills needed to be upgraded are swap of Vengeful Spirit and the Techies' landmines or remote mines. This trick can surely kill one enemy if executed well. Here's how it works:




. Let the Techies plant land mines or remote mines just enough to kill a hero.
. Let the Vengeful Spirit to stand on the mines and wait for a perfect time.
. If an enemy is on the range where you can swap the hero, then use the skill.
. Kaboom! The enemy can be either be hit by the land mines or burned with the remote mines.

This tactic, however, requires precision to distance of the Vengeful Spirit and quantity of mines to be planted. It's better to plant more mines to make sure that it will surely die with the explosion. In the event that the enemy still survived the blast, then the Vengeful Spirit can finish him with her Magic Missile.

Bombs Away! Tiny-Techies Combo

This trick works well in early game. Since every heroes has lower HP from the start, the Techies suicide can be very fatal. When you are in the lane with int and agi heroes you will have a good chance to kill a hero in one suicidal attempt. Here's the trick:



.Let Tiny upgrade toss and Techies, suicide.
.Aim for your target, choose the hero which has lower HP and has lower armor.
.Let the Techies always stand just near the Stone Giant to wait for the perfect time.
.When the time is right, toss the Techies near the enemy and let it commit suicide.

Kaboom! You just killed an enemy.

This trick will surely slows down enemy level up and harassing them can be very irritating. Not to mention the excitement of making fun with the game with this tactic.
